+Excluded are $1500 per person for burial expenses, the house where you reside, vehicles, jewelry.
Automatically eligible for ‘extra help’ are those:
- With full Medicaid benefits
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Who get help to pay Medicare premiums; i.e., QMB, SLMB, QI
